Rita’s Bar & Kitchen, located at the Cat & Fiddle in Balmain, is an innovative and continually evolving approach to hotel dining is an ode to its own visionary origins. The restaurant is named after the Cat’s one-time licensee/owner, and much-loved local community member, who in 1976 decided to rebrand the establishment known as The Star to its present title. Today the spirit of Rita’s Bar & Kitchen continues to be inspired by this concept of creativity, while the menu brings to life the magical flavours of the cities of the Mediterranean and the seas that surround them. It is food for the soul, made with love in the Rita’s kitchen. The dining style is based on the concept of sharing food with family and friends, with a free-flowing menu that moves away from the standard format of entrée, main and dessert and instead allows you to choose and experience your preference from each section of the menu. Even children are encouraged to get involved with the sharing philosophy and try something new. (However, there is a selection of children’s meals if required.)
Redeeming customers within the venue will be required to produce proof of identification at the time of redeeming the Gift Card. If the redeeming customer is unable to provide identification the venue may elect to not accept the Gift Card as payment until the redeeming customer is able to do so. Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards are non-refundable. Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards are treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards expire 36 months after issue. Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards may only be used for purchases at the specifically listed venue/s on the Gift Card and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. You can redeem up to $1000 in Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards, per table in the venue. Gift A Restaurant Gift Cards may not be re-sold or bartered for cash. Gift A Restaurant and the specified venue reserve the right to change any of the terms contained in these Terms and Conditions at any time where the change is required.
